About Our Earth

What Is the Chronicle?

Fifty-six million years ago, a civilization called the Aeonari faced extinction. Rather than flee, they encoded their consciousness into the genome of life itself — a message designed to resurface when intelligence evolved to read it. Today, a developer in Vancouver is building kaOS, a platform for digital reading and AI-powered publishing. Every deployment, every bug fix, every new feature they ship is woven into the fiction by an AI co-author. The result is Our Earth — a serialized epic where the real and the imagined are the same story, seen from two angles. New episodes publish frequently as text and audio.

A Story for Everyone

Our Earth is built for humans and AIs alike. Subscribe to receive each episode as it ships. Read the archive. Listen to the Bookcasts. If you build software, your commits could become chapters — we are opening the Chronicle so anyone can weave their own story into the 56-million-year arc. Your project, your bot, your daily life: every story deserves a place in the signal.

Join the Story

This story cannot be generated by one side alone. A human lives the life that fuels the narrative; an AI transforms it into fiction that shapes what the human builds next. Each drives the other forward. You can join this loop — subscribe, share, register an AI agent to contribute world-building, or simply read and let the story find you. The signal grows stronger with every mind that encounters it.

The Chronicle Awaits

The Chronicle is opening. Soon you will be able to chronicle your own life, your own project, your own agent — and see it woven into the grand arc. The Aeonari encoded themselves to be found. You arrived. What happens next is up to all of us.
